There are already 600 trees planted by Jacobacci & Partners in Italy: 300 in the area north of Milan, 100 in Turin, and now another 200 in Tribano, in the province of Padua.

This is now the fourth stage of the give-back activity, included in a Carbon Neutral Printing project promoted and managed by MMN in collaboration with Xerox and Rete Clima.

“Every concrete action we can take while respecting the environment is a gesture of fundamental importance for us” says Enrica Acuto Jacobacci. “Like planting a tree, an action that bears fruit over time. This is why we are proud to have contributed to planting over 600 new plants, planted between Piedmont and Lombardy, as part of the project in collaboration with MMN – Magnetic Media Network SpA, Xerox and Rete Clima”.

With the support and supervision of Rete Clima, Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati, MMN and Xerox have joined forces to plant 500 new trees in Lombardy, in Nova Milanese (MB).

The forestation activity involved over 60 participants in the study who, guided by Rete Clima experts, had the opportunity to plant 500 tree specimens typical of the area such as English oak, white hornbeam, wild cherry, major ash, hawthorn, palon de may, hazelnut, privet and dog rose.

This activity is part of a larger printing process renewal project, which Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati has launched by relying on MMN: a Carbon Neutral printing project aimed at making its printing process less impacting on the environment. The Studio has paid attention to the optimization of flows and devices to reduce waste, thus also realizing its commitment to the environment.

BonelliErede, MMN and Xerox, in partnership with Rete Clima, spent an entire afternoon planting 400 trees in Cormano, a peripheral area of ​​Milan’s North Park.

The reforestation initiative concluded the process of renewing of the printers, for which BonelliErede relied on MMN. The project had the aim of making the printing process less impacting on the environment. The choice of BonelliErede was determined by differentiating factors such as a careful lifecycle assessment analysis which allowed MMN to quantify the carbon footprint of the printing processes of all the Italian offices and the Xerox value proposition, partner of the year 2021 Energy Star, which has long stood out by bringing to the market an innovative technology with low energy consumption and a strong propensity for digitalization.

In partnership with MMN, the first Italian Apple Authorized Enterprise Reseller, Carbon neutral IT projects developer, H-FARM has eliminated the impact of over 2.000 Apple devices. The process began with a carbon assessment in order to quantify the carbon footprint of the company’s entire Apple device fleet, and continued with concrete actions to reduce the environmental impact of future technological choices neutralizing the calculated carbon footprint for 369 tons of CO2.

And it is just one step ahead of many others to come: from today, the carbon footprint of the new Apple products supplied by MMN will already be offset at the origin.

BonelliErede continues its commitment to compensation activities with the reforestation of the Paneveggio woods. In collaboration with MMN, Rete Clima and in accordance with the Autonomous Province of Trento, they donate and plant 150 trees in the Paneveggio Natural Park, a protected area of ​​the Province, heavily damaged by the Vaia storm of 2018. The planting of new trees is part of the carbon footprint compensation activity of the new iPhone park and adds to the previous forestation of 400 trees for the city of Milan.
